Nope. Sure, the role of print in society has changed. No one (including your printer) regrets the invention of the telephone, computers, or email. Print isn’t the exclusive media for mass communication that it was for centuries, but it’s far from obsolete. Print is practical, it’s still an important means of communication, and there are several areas where it’s indispensable:

Wide format is another example. Inkjet technology has really simplified the process and one-off posters, signs, and banners can be produced and delivered quickly. Similar technology can be used to print on nearly anything, from wallets to wallpaper.
